Waypoints

How many times have you looked for your base with the same three trees as your only landmark? Waypoints fix that: you mark a place, and it shows up in the world.

Adding a waypoint

Right-click with a compass to open the menu. Give your waypoint a name, choose its position (or click My position) and a color.

Seeing them

As long as you hold a compass, your waypoints are shown right in the world. Put it away, and they disappear.

The death waypoint

When you die, a red waypoint is placed automatically at the exact spot. You know where to go to get your stuff back.
